This page features the opening text of Lois McMaster Bujold's novella “Penric’s Demon,” written by hand in a Gothic alphabet. At the bottom of the page, a medieval-style illustration shows Penric and Gans set out from Jurald Court. A white crow, sign of the Bastard, flies low in the right margin, hinting at the surprise waiting in store. An historiated initial showing Learned Ruchia clutching a hand to her heart opens the passage.

This is a limited edition run of just 100 art prints. Each print is matted on a white, archival-safe mat and comes ready to hang or to put in an 11”x14” frame. Ships flat.
